Viewing Incoming Fax from the Administrator Portal

Overview

This article provides information for FaxMaker Online users looking to view incoming (inbound) faxes from the Administrator console.

 

Information

The GFI FaxMaker Online Activity Log provides users with administrator accounts the ability to monitor fax transmission for the account for both incoming as well as outbound faxes. The administrators are able to monitor the inbound activity logs but not view the actual fax contents of what was transmitted.

Log in to the FaxMaker Online Administrator Portal and click on Activity Log from the menu bar and select Inbound Activity from the dropdown to monitor the Inbound Fax Activity Logs.

The Activity Log shows the list of received fax calls in the left pane, based on the selected filters available in the top pane to filter through the fax calls list.

The right pane shows the Activity Details for the selected call and will show different information depending on whether you are viewing the Activity Log for Outbound or Inbound faxes. See Activity Log for more information on the details shown for inbound and outbound faxes.

The right pane shows the following details of the selected received fax:

Detail Description
ID A unique ID assigned by GFI FaxMaker Online.
Caller The sender's fax number.
Fax Number The fax number of the GFI FaxMaker Online user receiving the fax.
Date Date and time when the fax was transmitted.
Duration Length of time of fax transmission.
Page Count Number of fax pages.
Note: Incoming (Inbound) faxes will only appear in the activity logs after they have been delivered to their intended recipients. However, Administrators cannot view the actual fax content.
