How to Remove Active Fax Numbers from a FaxMaker Online Subscription

Overview

This article provides the procedure for removing currently assigned fax numbers from the fax pool belonging to a GFI FaxMaker Online subscription. This is done to reduce the number of active fax numbers for an account.

Information

To reduce the number of Fax Numbers you currently have, you can Contact GFI Sales to renew the numbers you want to retain and provide a list of the numbers you no longer need. The Sales Team will then send the numbers to be removed to the carrier to have them removed.

Note: Once a number is removed from your fax pool, it could get reassigned to another subscriber and you would lose access to that fax number.

The Fax Pool Overview widget in the GFI FaxMaker Online Administrator Portal displays the fax numbers available in your account, grouped by location. Click a location to monitor and manage the availability and assignment of fax numbers.
