GFI FaxMaker Online Administrator users can reset their passwords through the Forgot password link on the Administrator Portal landing page and following the reset instructions sent to the user's email address.
The password reset instructions are always sent to the administrator's email hence the password recovery process cannot be completed if the person requiring access no longer has access to the registered administrator email, a common scenario that is occasioned by staff changes in an organization.
This article describes what can be done in this case to recover the administrator account credentials.
Information
The recommended method to recover an administrator account is for another administrator to log in to the administrator portal and reset the administrator email and password as needed by following the steps described in How to Change the FaxMaker Online Administrator Email Address. Alternatively, the administrator can make use of the Forgot password link found on the Administrator Portal landing page.
In both cases, the reset instructions are sent to the user's email address. therefore if this mailbox is inaccessible, you should submit a support request for further assistance from the support team.

Once the administrator account has been recovered, a new administrator can be created by following the steps outlined in Creating Administrators with Full Permissions to Add Departments.
