Overview
This article provides an overview of how simultaneous faxing works in FaxMaker Online.
Simultaneous calls
As long as there is no forward in place to your fax line(s) which are on the GFI FaxMaker Online network, and senders are faxing directly to these numbers, we can handle dozens of simultaneous calls at the same time. We can not quantify it with a number but we have a large infrastructure built and being utilized by some large vendors in the health industry so if there are any issues, it should not be a ' no answer' or 'no busy' from us.
All fax numbers are capable of processing simultaneous fax calls. Ports are dynamically allocated as needed when calls come into any given fax number, so theoretically you could have dozens of simultaneous calls all be processed at the same time.
If there are issues with receiving multiple parallel faxes, please open a Support ticket with us including details such as the inbound fax number the sender sent to and, the sender's expected out-pulse number, and the date/time/timezone of an occurrence no older than 7 days.
Additional information on fax numbers
- The FaxMaker's numbers are for exclusive use for faxing services, and calls will not be routed as voice lines.
- Multiple fax numbers can be assigned to a user account, and will all behave independently.
- Calls will not roll over to another number. Multiple simultaneous calls will be processed directly on their lines.
