Overview
Newly created FaxMaker Online users that are allowed to send and receive faxes are usually notified via a welcome email that they can use the GFI FaxMaker Online service. This welcome email includes instructions on how to create an account password but the link normally expires if not utilized within the day.
Users who try to set their account password using a link with an expired token will be unsuccessful and will see the following error message:
The reset code is invalid. Request to reset your password again.

Solution
FaxMaker Online Administrators can reset user passwords from the administration console by following these steps:
- Login to the FaxMaker Online Administrator Portal.
- On the upper right section, click on the gear icon (Settings) and select Users or Administrators depending on the account you want to reset.
- Click the gear icon beside the username and select Edit User.
- Click on Reset password.
- Instructions on how to reset the user password will be sent to the specified user's email address.
Note: If your administrator is unable to log in they should first attempt to reset their password using the Forgot password link and if this fails submit a support request for further assistance from the support team. It is important to keep in mind the user account is only used for login into the mobile app or FaxMaker Online client or API for purposes of sending and receiving faxes but cannot be used to login to the Administrator portal.
