A customer may open a support request to find out the reason they are unable to log in to the FaxMaker Online Administrator portal and instead get an error message stating that the "Username does not exist". This article describes the scenario under which the above error can occur and the recommended solution when this happens.
FaxMaker Online Administrator Portal users will get the "Username does not exist" error when their accounts are linked to an expired FaxMaker Online subscription.
The administrator receives notifications about the current subscription status at different intervals and when it will expire. Upon expiration, the account is removed from the portal if not renewed and all associated users are subsequently unable to log in to the FaxMaker Online portal.
Follow these steps to restore services when this scenario occurs and you wish to continue using FaxMaker Online:
- Sign-up for a new trial account to restore faxing.
- Contact an Authorized GFI Reseller to purchase a subscription.
- During the purchase process, ask the reseller to give you the same number(s) that you previously had for the deleted account if still unassigned.
