Overview
This article provides the procedure to add more fax numbers/lines to your GFI FaxMaker Online subscription account.
Information
User accounts can receive faxes exclusively from a dedicated fax number. Without a dedicated fax number, users cannot receive faxes.
Follow these steps to purchase and add more fax numbers to your fax pool:
- From the GFI FaxMaker Online Administrator Portal, click
and select Request Fax Pool.
- Select the required fax line's country and area code.
- Choose the fax numbers to add.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add fax numbers from different countries and/or area codes.
- Click Add Pool to proceed to checkout.
- Review your Shopping Cart details and proceed to purchase the additional fax numbers.
- If the account has a fax number(s) pending payment, the following warning is displayed and the pending payment must be completed before purchasing additional fax numbers.
- Contact your sales representative through any of the methods described in Contacting GFI Sales for further assistance in this scenario.
- If the account has a fax number(s) pending payment, the following warning is displayed and the pending payment must be completed before purchasing additional fax numbers.
- On purchase completion, the new fax numbers are available to be assigned to new users.
Note:
- If no fax numbers are available in your area or region, additional fax numbers are usually obtained in one to four days, depending on availability. Contact your sales representative or send an email to sales@gfi.com to request new fax numbers in your region.
- If you are requesting a fax number in Germany, under German law an exact address verification is required before a number can be issued. Any number being issued must match a physical address and proof is required the business resides at that address, such as a certificate of registration/incorporation (Handelsregisterauszug or business registry extract).
- You can start Sending Faxes From Your Email on your trial account even before getting a fax number assigned as fax numbers are used while receiving faxes only.
- Another option to add more numbers to your fax pool would be to Port your existing fax numbers to FaxMaker Online to continue using your existing fax numbers in GFI FaxMaker Online. This enables you to retain your existing contact details.
